Intelsat 15 was passed 1st December 2009 at 3:00 pm local time (November 30, 2009 at 22:00 pm our time) 3SLB Zenit carrier rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

IS=15- was made based on platform-2.4 Star Bus company Orbital Sciences Corporation. Satellites Dobe7777,will have a total of 22 Ku-band transponders to cover the Middle East and Russia.

Lifetime- satellite is planned for at least 17 years.
